Exploring the Eiffel Tower

Paris in the Spring?

Paris in the Spring?

We were disappointed to know that we won’t be able to enter the Eiffel Tower that day. What wasn’t clear to me was why we weren’t able to go in the first place. Was it that all tickets were already sold out for the day? Was it that the tower was closed? We didn’t get any answers at all since there was no sign. I didn’t see any people entering the tower and the top of the tower was too high to see any people. We were left to explore the ground floor of the Eiffel Tower, of which there wasn’t really much to see. There seemed to be a stage here for performances. I wasn’t sure if it was a nightly performance since there doesn’t seem to be any preparation going on.

From this part, one can see to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. There isn’t really much to see here other than the platform that is the second level. I won’t know what is there to see in the second floor. We will be returning to the Eiffel Tower in another day, hopefully we would be able to procure tickets to go up to the top. I guess I have to keep the ring for another day. We weren’t planning to explore the River Seine at that time either so we decided to head back for dinner.
