Landing at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Waiting to Go Outside the Terminal Building

When I travel, I try to stick to one general area at a time. Doing so, I would be able to take in more of the place at the same time I don’t have to spend too much on transportation. Spain’s local transportation is convenient enough with the high speed trains, I wouldn’t have any problem if I stayed in Spain the whole trip, however my friends flew halfway across the world to get here and they want to see as much as they can within the allotted time. They wanted to go to Paris in this trip so this was also included in the itinerary. We initially wanted to take the overnight train from Barcelona to Paris, however it was very expensive to travel by that high speed train. It was more economical for us to just fly and it still take a lot less time to do so. It is a pity since traveling by train can be a very enjoyable experience.

Our Easyjet flight will bring us to the French capital city of Paris. It was a short flight just as we reached our highest altitude, it was already time to descend. From the sky we can see a lot of the beautiful French countryside. We landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and it didn’t seem to be a very new airport. One of my companions queued up at the tourist information counter to get more information about buses and all that. Turns out there are trains from here to the city center. Time to go exploring!
