We seem to be done exploring the amazing Sagrada Familia Basilica. This massive church is one of the longest ongoing construction projects in the world and it is funded by donations. Not only that, but the number of visitors to the famed basilica ensured that there will always be enough money to complete this project. Estimated put the completion of the project in the next decade. This is a huge improvement from the “several centuries” estimate before. Modern technology as well as the influx of money keeps pushing the construction of this fabulous church. I really hope I will be able to visit this church when it is completed.

It seems that there is another portion of the basilica which we have yet to explore. Walking away from the Nativity Facade, there is a path down which leads to a museum. It features a lot of information on the basilica, its design, construction as well as the final product. There is also a lot of information on Antoni Gaudí himself. I wasn’t expecting a museum here and I was surprised to see how extensive it was. I think I would enjoy this part as well as it gives information on how Gaudí came up with the designs of the Sagrada Familia Basilica as well as his reasons for doing so.
