Barcelona Waterfront

I wasn’t expecting that we would be at the waterfront in Barcelona. If it were up to me, I probably would have spend most of my time exploring the Barri Gotic and anything which is considered ancient. It is probably good to have this kind of variety as I would have a better idea of what Barcelona is really like. This visit would be a little different from my visit to Madrid, where I hardly saw the city at all since I spent most of my time either at the railway station or outside the city. Barcelona has a lot of places to see both old and new I think it would nice to see the new.

The Barcelona Waterfront was very modern, as it supports a cruise center and a marina. There seems to be shopping mall in the far end but I would have to go there to visit the place. I noticed for the first time that there were a lot of sea gulls here. This is probably the first time I have seen them and they were much larger than I imagined. They didn’t seem to be too afraid of humans as they would sometimes approach them without fear. The Barcelona Waterfront seems to be a very nice place to come an relax. You can just sit and watch the ships pass by or just sit and people watch. There will always be a lot of people here so you don’t need to worry about that.
