Beautiful Statue on Display at the Cathedral of Toledo
Inside the sacristy of the Cathedral of Toledo there were several important works of art. Most of the art on display here were of paintings. Of particular focus here were the paintings of El Greco, a Greek painter who moved here and created his most famous works of art. The painting of the Disrobing of Christ is considered one of the most beautiful renditions of Christ and is one of his most famous works. So famous is that painting that El Greco was commissioned to make copies of that same painting, several are in collections around the world. However, paintings are not the only thing which are on display here at the cathedral. There were also sculptures.

Although the sculptures here at the gallery were not anywhere as magnificent as the El Transparente which is being the altar in the cathedral. As you might expect, the sculptures here were religious in nature. It features crucifixes and statues of saints. I didn’t get to note down the artists who made these works of art but suffice to say that they are impressive. There weren’t big and flashy as other sculptures but they still look great.
