Beautiful Designs on the Roof of One of the Rooms of the Cathedral of Toledo

I have seen a lot of churches in my life and most of them tend to look alike. However, one thing about Catholic churches especially the older ones, they tend to be rather grand. Back then, design of the church was a huge thing and it was intended to be a reflection of the majesty of God. After all, you can’t have God living in poorly design house right? The Cathedral of Toledo is a great example of this elaborately designed church, perhaps more so than I have ever seen before. I know European church tend to be very impressive, but I think I am about to find out just how impressive they can be.

The Cathedral of Toledo is one of three important Gothic cathedrals in Spain. Gothic cathedrals tend to have very high roofs and have elaborate designs wherever you look. Cathedral of Toledo is one of the most impressive I have seen so far as every inch of the cathedral seems to have been given painstaking attention. The interiors of the cathedral can almost rival any royal palace and it won’t be surprising either since back then the clergy has much more power than they have now. In fact, the king would often pay respects to the clergy and go to great lengths to appease them.
