Going to the Hill of Tara

It seems that we will be going to what may be Ireland’s most important place. So important that it borders on the mystical. I am talking about the Hill of Tara. I only heard about this place when our tour guide was talking about it. It seems that the old kings of Ireland considered this place sacred. As it happens, the Hill of Tara seems to be just as old as Newgrange and it was in active use even way back then. It is incredible that we would still be able to visit such ancient place. The more out tour guide talks about the Hill of Tara, the more my interest is aroused.

The Hill of Tara implies that it is on a high place. Thus it seems that we will be going a bit of climbing. Hopefully the bus will do much of the climbing for us. Our tour guide kept telling us to be very careful when walking there as it may be slippery. She was also half jokingly and rather sadistically laughing saying that we will die there because it will be very cold there. I was happy with the weather at Newgrange, however it seems that the storm clouds have once again taken over. I hope it won’t be windy there, if not, we will really die there.
