Lunch at the Newgrange Visitor Center

I was done with the Newgrange Visitor Center but it seems that we won’t be leaving yet. I asked our tour guide when we will be leaving and she told us that we should have lunch first before leaving. The canteen at the visitor center was okay, it was large and bright and it was indoors. The food there were mostly sandwiches, at least the food which I felt I would be okay to spend money on. The problem with Europe is that there is no way to get cheap eats unless you cook it yourself. The cheapest stuff would probably be a slice of pizza or a kebab. If everyone pays so much, I wonder where all the money goes?

My sandwich wasn’t really that special. It was okay and it was hot, at least it takes a bit of the cold away from winter air outside. I didn’t really know what else to do here since I was just waiting for our tour guide to call us. I wanted to play with my phone, but mobile reception wasn’t very good here. Oh well, nothing like a dead spot to take you away from it all. With the Newgrange Stone Age Passage Tomb looming nearby, it might be a nice change from our day to day routine.
