The Chester Beatty Library in Dublin
I was in the area the previous day and the rain was ruining my day of exploration that after I exited Dublin Castle, I was thinking of visiting a famous library nearby, I decided not to pursue it anymore since it was too rainy. Today the weather was much better so I got the chance to go back to Dublin Castle and participate in what turned out to be a very informative tour. Unfortunately, I seemed to have arrived a bit late in the day and the library would be closing soon. I was advised by the front desk at the Dublin Castle so I head there immediately after the tour.
Going to the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin
The library is best accessed through the castle gardens at Dublin castle. It is a modern-ish building a bit to the right of the garden. I was actually expecting something more grand but this seems to be the place since it has its name on the front door. I would only have less than thirty minutes to explore this place. Definitely not enough time to appreciate the place but I don’t think I would get to come back here anytime soon so I might as well come, besides, I don’t have much to do before dinner.
