It took us about an hour more to get from Lough Salt to our destination still in the rugged county of Donegal. It was a tiring ride, fortunately, I wasn’t driving. Eventually, I probably have to make this trip myself, but I need to be able to drive first. We have arrived in the area called Melmore Head. These names are already very confusing to me but I have already known what it is. A head is something like a small peninsula and Ireland has a huge supply of these given its exposure to the Atlantic Ocean. As a result, numerous heads which tend to be spectacular attract people from various places to come here and visit.

Just as we were arriving at Melmore Head. We came upon this place which is a car park for mobile homes. They call this the Melmore Family Caravan Park. A caravan is something like a container on wheels, which is attached to the back of a car to be hauled off to various locations depending on the owner. The mobile homes are then parked into these caravan parks. In this case, people from Northern Ireland, have gotten themselves spots in this caravan park to spend their summer here. It seems that Melmore Head is a popular location for these family caravans, as there were a lot of other caravans which were parked here. I think it would be interesting to try living in a mobile home, it already has electricity and running water, I guess as long as there is internet, I could live like that for a while.
