Oyster Bar for Tea

I was extremely relieved that I managed to get back to the car in one piece. The car park area is a wide open area and perfectly ripe for powerful winds here. We needed to be very careful when opening the doors lest stuff start flying out. I quickly made my way inside the car as the winds were making it really cold. At least I can still see what is happening outside from the safety of the car. It was an exhilarating experience, and I would probably do it again, sometime, but maybe not too soon. I need to get proper equipment first, hiking boots, waterproof jacket, and basically warmer clothing. My jeans were able to protect me from most of the wind but I don’t think it will be able to do that as the season progresses.

We head back to the town of Dunfanaghy, which is the main town closest to Horn Head. It is quite popular as a vacation destination but I still can’t fathom why anyone would want to vacation in a place like that. My friends would scratch their heads when I couldn’t come to terms with it. Maybe in time I would come to understand the logic of vacationing in a beautiful but wind-swept godforsaken place such as this. We stopped by a pub named the Oyster Bar for some tea. It was a decent place though I didn’t get to try much of their food, it seemed to be a popular place as it was filled with people even in the afternoon. I think it would be great to try to hang out here at night but we won’t be staying here as we head back that very afternoon.
