Clarke Quay at Night

We had a nice little night out at Sque at Clarke Quay, but it was still a bit early in the night and we wanted to go around Clarke Quay for a bit. I was lugging around a brand new camera and I was very eager to try it out. It seemed that Clarke Quay is one of the best places to try this out. I have been to Clarke Quay numerous times, in fact, I have been to Clarke Quay when it was just a flea market, before it became this party place that it has become. Much has changed in Clarke Quay, and I must say that I am still undecided on whether I like the new look. The huge umbrellas are an amazing sight, sure they are functional but I don’t have to like them.

On the other hand these structures make taking photos in Clarke Quay and much more interesting affair. The structures take on different hues throughout the night and they make for a better background that just the night sky. There are also large fans which move the air around keeping it nice and cool even here in tropical Singapore. The river area is also just as vibrant as the river side is lined with numerous restaurants. This is a great place for tourists, but at the same time it has become an expensive place to be in. We only passed through though, so no damage done.
