Probably the only thing to do here at Pinagbuyutan Island is to go swimming. The walls of the karst mountain here are too steep for anyone to climb. Although it might be worthwhile to carve a trail up as the mountain as the views from the top of the mountain are sure to be stupendous. The beach here in Pinagbuyutan island is okay. I sure in some other place, the beach here would be considered great but maybe because I have seen too many of them that I have gotten used to it. I was walking up the beach when I noticed some people walking off to a rather seldom visited part of the island.

I had to wade through waist deep water all the while clinging on to the rocks on the left hoping that I won’t get slammed on to the rocks by a rogue wave. I was also concerned about losing my footing that I may slip and get the camera wet. Not a good scenario either. Fortunately, I made it safely across and I was greeted with an isolated beach. There were only two other people here and it seems that they are already done here. This is understandable since the beach here is not very long either. There is, however, a wooden house with a cleaner. We were told that this was a private beach but they don’t really chase people away. Not yet, anyway. There is a small paddle boat on the beach. I suppose this his how he came here. It is rather a unique way of coming to work.
