Exploring the Beach at Pinagbuyutan Island

Beach of Pinagbuyutan Island at El Nido

Since we arrived at Pinagbuyutan Island here in the Bacuit Archipelago, we have been basically let loose by our tour guide to just do whatever we wanted. There isn’t any cave to see here so his services as a guide aren’t really needed. The only thing you can do here is to go swimming. I didn’t feel like going swimming yet so I was just hanging around the beach to see what else is here. I was very glad to see that there weren’t a lot visitors here as well. I suspect that there is some deviation in the tour groups destinations, depending on where the boat man feels like bringing them to. I guess this really depends on the kind of service they are willing to offer you.

Coconut Trees Complete the Tropical Island Feel of Pinagbuyutan Island

The beaches of Pinagbuyutan Island aren’t very long. They aren’t very broad either, however, they do have crystal clear waters just like the others. Coconut trees lined the beach and provide that perfect tropical island feel. I guess I need to be thankful that it wasn’t very hot that afternoon. I was already sunburnt from the previous days exploration I don’t think I need another dose of sun. There doesn’t seem to be any resort development in this part of the island though, I hope it stays that way.
