Walking on Snake Island

I was quite happy with the view from the top of that small hill very near Snake Island. It was the perfect vantage point to see the unique sandbar. Now it was time to try walking on it. The water in this parts is not very deep at all and it is possible to walk all the way to the other side. I wasn’t sure if this was high tide yet but parts of the sandbar are underwater while other parts are not. When in Snake Island, you absolutely need to try walking here. It is quite a unique experience.

From the hill, the waters here are slightly deeper with it reaching past the ankle. Nothing to be alarmed about here as even little children were walking along these parts. You can think of it as navigating a flood in Manila, except that the waters here are much, much cleaner than flood waters will ever be. The sand on the sandbar isn’t as nice as the ones in Entalula Island, but I didn’t really care much about that. Just being able to walk on this makes me appear to be walking on water.
