Small Shopping Center in Wuhua District in Kunming 昆明五华区
Two weeks seemed to fly very quickly when you are on vacation. I was finally in between jobs and I just needed a break in between to give me a little rest. Last job was quite stressful so I hope you forgive me if I was really looking forward to this break. I would have wanted my break to be a little longer but work awaits. It is no longer funny how people would try to rush you to start work only for you to sit there and not do anything for a few weeks or even months. Well, the new job is a fresh start for me and I look forward to joining that company.
Arch at Zhengyi Road in Kunming
Nighttime as Zhengyin Road is as expected for a pedestrian shopping street. It is not as glamorous as a Wangfujing or a Nanjing East Road but it is still quite nice. This place was just as busy as those streets but with far less foreigners. I already finished buying my Yunnan snacks and I needed to find a way back to the hostel. I had very little idea where I was and I was looking for a bus to take. I walked several blocks until I found a bus stop which has a bus going to my place. I seemed to be lucky as it stops just a block away from the hostel. The streets here weren’t as brightly lit probably because there was still a power failure in the hostel’s area. At least it wasn’t dangerous for pedestrians. There was enough light to find my way back.
