Stallowners Selling Yunnan Snacks in Lijiang Ancient Town 丽江古城
The night is heating up at Lijiang Ancient Town and there are more people than ever walking through the main streets of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Much as I want to use the small streets to explore Lijiang at night, I was very hesitant since it would mean that I will get lost finding my way back to the hostel. For now, at least at night, I will stick to the larger and more familiar streets. There is always the business card of the hostel in case I get lost. I keep running into familiar places, most significantly the eating area.
Looks Like Chinese Okonomiyaki
The snack corner here at Lijiang Ancient Town has come to life with numerous stalls all buzzing with activity. Frantically trying to prepare the next batch of stuff at the same time trying to entice visitors to try one of Yunnan’s unique snacks. It was very interesting to walk up and down the row of snack shops trying to figure out which one to take. I wasn’t able to try everything though not all of them looked enticing. Maybe some other time.
