Relaxing By the Beach at Coral Bay at Perhentian Kecil
Well, today was the day we will be departing the idyllic island of Perhentian Kecil. Despite the trouble to get here, what with the very long bus rides and hot weather, I really enjoyed it here. The beach was a welcome respite to the brewing storm clouds that were looming at work. I don’t go on vacation that often probably just twice a year, but short trips like these are very much welcome for me. The monotony of work was getting to me and I was getting irritable at work, often flaring up at the slightest annoyance. It was a good thing my friend invited me to join this trip. We are no strangers to this kind of trips, in fact we welcome the journey as well as the destination.

We have already notified our resort that we will be leaving around noontime but there was still a lot of time that morning. We no longer had an agenda here. All the photos were already taken the previous day, so there was nothing left to do but relax and take a break. Sometimes just taking photos as a hobby is also tough work. Although I still brought my camera with me, I wasn’t really that much in the mood for taking photos. The beautiful beach however, forces me to change my mind and make me take a few snaps here.
