Is This Airline Food?
I slept soundly that night with my body still feeling like it is floating in the water. It is a nice feeling but it fades away so soon. I was very tired from the island hopping tour the previous day that I slept continuously. Although there was no air conditioning at our room, the breeze was still good enough to keep the room cool. Fortunately, there weren’t any large insects here. Morning proved to be an ordeal for me since the effects of the previous day were just surfacing. My skin was all red from the staying out in the sun for too long, I’m sure I will be grossing out my colleagues when it starts to peel off.
Breakfast By the Sea at Senja Bay Resort at Perhentian Kecil
We wanted to start early here Perhentian Kecil, we plan to depart the island around lunch so we were trying to decide what to do for the day. We already got our nice sunrise photos so we could stay in our room a little longer. The first order of the day was breakfast. Senja Bay Resort provides free breakfast, but it wasn’t really anything to write home about. This time I went for the continental breakfast. That is, toast. It really feels like having airline food as the butter and the jam provided looked much like the ones on planes. Needless to say, they did taste same. I had been trying to get a spot which was closest to the water and we were lucky to get one. It was nice to enjoy your breakfast while looking at the sea just outside the restaurant.
