Perhentian Kecil After Dark

Darkness Falling at Perhentian Kecil

Darkness Falling at Perhentian Kecil

There are two major places to stay at Perhentian Kecil Coral Bay or Long Beach. We stayed at Coral Bay since it was supposedly rowdier at Long Beach. We didn’t actually go to Long Beach to confirm this though but I seriously doubt that it would get that noisy at Long Beach either, judging from how sleepy Coral Bay was. There was thankfully no loud music blaring away, at least near where we were staying. I hope they realized that not all visitors appreciate that kind of noise. After our island hopping tour, we retreated back to our cottages and got some rest. I was totally red from all the sun I got the whole day. I’m already feeling hot from being exposed for too long. I’m sure I will feel even worse the following day.

It was a strange feeling to be back on dry land again, somehow I always get this floating feeling whenever I get back on land after a lengthly swimming session in the sea. Even when I was in bed, I would feel that there are still waves gently nudging me. By the time, I woke up that afternoon, it was already sundown. We quickly got back to the beach to try to get a decent sunset photos but it was likewise a failure. The whole day was cloud free and all of a sudden there were clouds obscuring the sun, that was quite disappointing. We took a few token shots here and try to see what else we can do here. It seems that Coral Bay is so sleepy that we can only eat and sleep at night. Sounds interesting?
