Our Boat at Romantik Beach at Perhentian Kecil
Romantik Beach is the perfect end to our day long island hopping tour. For a sum of MYR 60, we were able to tour several spots here in the Perhentian Islands. Most of the spots were for snorkeling as you can see in the previous posts. What I like about the tour was how our boatman/tour guide would talk to each one of us to check if everyone of us saw what he intended us to see. This is a very nice gesture and great for other tour guides to emulate. It makes one feel important and it makes you feel that you got your money’s worth. Even though we were brought to several sites, we didn’t feel like we were being rushed from place to place, this is probably because he only makes one trip each day so there was no need to hurry back for the next batch of tourists.

Romantik Beach is a great place to end the day, our boatman Kazman, no doubt has spent numerous afternoons on this very beach and probably likes it as well since he brought us here to see it. I spent much of the time just soaking myself in the water chatting with the other passengers. It is fun to get to know the others as well. You can get valuable information from them from time to time. My body is already tired from swimming throughout the day and I just wanted to relax, Romantik Beach is the perfect place to do it.
