Overnight Stay at a Budget Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

I tried to sleep on the plane but to no avail. I always find it difficult to fall asleep when on transportation. My plane was taking me from Tianjin to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Malaysia is a place I have been to several times already and I am more or less familiar with some places there. The last time I went through Malaysia to get home was a nightmare since arrived quite late in the night and I needed to care transportation right after landing. There was no direct bus from the Low Cost Carrier Terminal to the new bus station so I had to take a bus to the city center and the train to get to the temporary bus terminal to be able to catch a twelve midnight flight. Needless to say, it was a very exhausting trip. This time around I know better, I have allocated one night for me to spend a night here in Kuala Lumpur and I will take my bus the next day.

The airport bus dropped us off at Berjaya Times Square. Unfortunately, for me this was a bit of an expensive place to stay in. I don’t think I would be able to afford the fancy hotels they have here so it was imperative for me to find a place to stay. I think I really should make bookings ahead of time to avoid situations like this. Anyway, I managed to stumble into Jalan Pudu, whose name reminds me of a bus station we used to take, I was kind of hoping that it would mean that I was near that bus station. Along the way, I discovered several budget hotels and inns for travelers. This was obviously meant for the people who would be getting off the bus station late in the night. I found a place for myself at an affordable price, although it was at the ground floor beside the lobby which had a loud television, I managed to tune out the noise from the television and from the people going in and out of the hotel. I guess I was that tired. The place was clean and decent, not to mention relatively affordable considering its location near Bukit Bintang and Puduraya. Unfortunately, I seemed to have misplaced the name of the hotel. Anyway, here are some photos.
