The last hall at the Beijing Lama Temple is probably one of the most boring. Usually for temples of this layout, the last of the halls or at least the ones at the back tend to be the least impressive of the halls. Probably because these weren’t really meant to be visited or shown off. The ones in front tend to be more grand and impressive, while the ones behind play a more functional role. The Sui Cheng Hall is one of these non-descript halls. There were even less people here and it makes me forget that how many people were there up front.

The Sui Cheng Hall, despite its humble appearance currently houses the statues of the white and green tara, a Tibetan Buddhist deity. I don’t know much about these figure, I may have seen them numerous times but I have never been able to identify them. The few people who do drop by here pay their respects to the tara but most people would just pass by. I guess I know that my exploration of this temple is about to end.
