The previous day, my would-be guide was recommending to me to proceed with half the tour he was planning for me. That would be the part where he brings me to explore a length of the Yalu River. I was wondering if he was just trying to get me as a customer but he was mentioning that the next day would not be as good as that afternoon where the fog will be thick, nothing can be seen. I don’t know how he knows that but I followed his advice and we toured around the Yalu River area that afteroon.

Now it was already the next day, and I was walking around the promenade area of the Yalu River in Ji’an City. It was close to where my tour guide/driver found me and as it turned out, he wasn’t kidding. The fog was so thick that I can hardly see any detail in the mountains of North Korea. The gloomy weather that afternoon wasn’t helping either making the scenery even darker. There was some light drizzling that afternoon which made it even harder to see across the river. Besides the rain might ruin my camera so I decided to keep walking.
