Mini-Theme Park Inside Suzhou Times Square

The goal of Suzhou Times Square is to be a well rounded destination for the whole family. It is easy to build a shopping mall with the requisite shops. No doubt that much of the income of shopping malls comes from the rent from these types of shops. There are always restaurants to fill up the mall as well, China a great food destination and there will be no shortage of these kind of places here. What I like about Suzhou Times Square is that they even put much thought to the open spaces outside the mall. The world’s largest LED screen and the waterways which surround the mall are just part of these.

I was thus surprised to see a section dedicated to the youngest of all customers, the kids. There was a large indoor theme park inside the mall. There is no Time Zone here but this place probably comes close. They even have some of the newer Japanese video games, some of which I haven’t seen yet. Perhaps not surprisingly, the theme park is a bit deserted. I think I remember only one family aside from us exploring the place. It might have been because it was already quite late and I don’t know how popular it is during the day. I would probably guess that this is a place not really frequented by the kids of Suzhou as this tends to be a high end playground for the ordinary folk. It is free to go around and have a look but I don’t expect them to spend much money on that.
