Moving on to Yue Fei’s Mausoleum 岳飞墓

Apparently, my friends weren’t really impressed with the Zhongshan Park either, the old structures were all gone and all that was left to see what the building’s foundations. We eventually showed ourselves the way out. We are keeping a tight schedule and we needed to keep moving. Our next stop was another place which I have previously visited, Yue Fei’s Mausoleum 岳飞墓. The mausoleum is a short walk from the park and it was a chance for us to enjoy the West Lake again. The last time I was here I was walking the other way though.

We were in a hurry and my companions missed a few significant places along the way. There were a couple of tombs of important people but they never noticed. Nevertheless, the walk to the mausoleum was a pleasant one. Nothing much has changed since I was here the previous year. Not that it matters, to me this was one of the more significant places in the vicinity of the West Lake.
