Hearty Meal of Beef Noodles Near the Leifeng Pagoda 雷峰塔
We breezed through the Leifeng Pagoda, to my relief since there was a growing number of people on top of the pagoda jostling for a good spot for photos. I believe my friends got good impressions of the pagoda, although it was really recently built. To continue our walking, we needed to power up as it was already lunch time. The Leifeng Pagoda is a high traffic area and as a result, there were a few eateries in the vicinity. Most of them were on the other side of the road though.

Actually, the stores here all probably sold the same stuff, noodles and some rice meals, so we just picked the one which we thought was the cleanest one. We ordered a simple meal of noodles and rice meals. It wasn’t really anything special though as I’ve had better tasting noodles and rice toppings elsewhere. It was good place to rest and plan our next move. We were already on the shores of the West Lake, I think there is only one logical choice here.
