Exploring Leifeng Pagoda 雷峰塔 Again

Escalator Going Up to the Leifeng Pagoda 雷峰塔

This would be my second time at the Leifeng Pagoda in as many years. Definitely, the Leifeng Pagoda is one of the must-visit places in Hangzhou, so it was natural that my friends wanted to it themselves. I did tell them of my disappointment when I initially visited the pagoda but they persisted. I would have to admit that the pagoda does offer one of the best views of the West Lake in the entire Hangzhou. I once again paid for entrance into the Leifeng Pagoda, which actually made me think twice about visiting it again.

Anyway, the entrance fee was that big and it would be different if I had someone with me. The Leifeng Pagoda here is a reconstruction of the one that used to stand here centuries ago. My friends were also surprised to see the escalator at the foot of the pagoda, which we still used. After all, we do have a lot of walking ahead of us and we paid for the escalator too. It was a great day, hopefully I would be able to get nice shots here.
