Much like its bigger brother Grand Hall of the Great Sage, the Hall of the Medicine Buddha also houses its own statue of Buddha. Naturally, this was dedicated to the Medicine Buddha, the Bhaisajyaguru. The Medicine Buddha is normally depicted as sitting and carrying a medicine jar in one hand. The statue of the Medicine Buddha exactly like this. Again, the hair was depicted as having a bluish tinge. The Hall of the Medicine Buddha is just as ornate at the others, with the statue as the natural highlight.

Just like the other halls, this hall also has its own share of figures on the side. This one was a bit different though since they were in color, unlike the monochrome likenesses on the other hall. Again, I do not know these Buddhist personalities but I’m sure they are important for them to be sharing the hall with the Medicine Buddha.
