From the looks of it, the Xumifushou Temple is much smaller than the Putuozongcheng Temple. This is actually perfect for me, since I was already tired from all that walking. I climbed a mountain and climbed a replica of the Potala Palace all in one day. The fact that I was still standing was incredible. Still I had a little more time to spare before I need to leave for Beijing. The Xumifushou Temple looks much like the Putuozongcheng Temple so I wasn’t really that into this particular temple.

I loved it because it was much smaller which meant that I won’t have to climb as much. Just like the Xumifushou Temple, it also had a main building which was painted brick red. This one however was lower than the Putuozongcheng Temple. However, it was just as colorful. The plaza outside the main building was decorated with a lot of Tibetan Prayer flags. From what I had researched, this temple is not active either which means this is much like a museum more than anything else. It might be more interesting to see it with monks going about their business.
