Almost There at the Top of Four Face Cloud Mountain 四面云山
The elderly gentlemen I met on the way up the mountain was nice enough to tell me that there was a point of interest nearby. In fact, they just came down from that spot themselves. In this area, this was probably one of the most interesting ones. As he already discouraged me from walking up the mountain, I was convinced to follow his suggestion. The path to the site wasn’t that good, actually it was a shortcut to the top. The path was a very bad dirt path and would be very dangerous if was it wet.
Pavillion on Top of Four Face Cloud Mountain 四面云山
After about fifteen minutes of walking I already saw my destination. It was a pavillion on top of the mountain which happens to be the highest point in the area. This was the Four Face Cloud Mountain 四面云山 which is named because you can see clouds in all four directions since this is the highest point of the land. Apparently this was also an important location since the tourist carts were bringing visitors here in droves, but not enough to overwhelm the tiny pavillion on top. It was a little difficult to climb to the top though since there were so many people going up.
