It is quite well known that Singapore is a tiny country. It doesn’t have the blessings of mountains and beaches which other neighboring countries have in abundance. However, this has not stopped the government from building places for nature lovers to enjoy themselves. This has led to the establishment of major parks within Singapore. One of these parks is MacRitchie Reservoir. I have heard of MacRitchie Reservoir but I was never really into visiting this place. However, one really boring day, I decided to just up and drop by just to take some photos.

I’ve never been to this part of Singapore before so it was a little new to me. Fortunately, with the power of the internet, it was easy enough to get to, what with the super efficient public transport system of the island state. Apparently the park was larger than I anticipated as the bus ran around the perimeter of the park. Fortunately, there was a bus stop near the entrance of the park. Immediately, there were several people jogging and other were just stretching their legs for a walk. It seems to be quite a popular weekend hangout and I am about to find out why.
