Clarke Quay From Across the Singapore River

After a rather hot walk through Fort Canning, I ended up in Clarke Quay, however, the entertainment hub was still fast asleep as it was still early in the afternoon. It doesn’t get busy until sundown. So I decided to spend some time to find other interesting places in the area. Clarke Quay is a rather large complex on the banks of the Singapore River. There is a mall on the other side of the river and since it was so hot, I decided to cool down at the airconditioned mall.

Central was the name of the mall across Clarke Quay. I’m not really into shopping so I didn’t really care much about what they sell there. The place is deceptively large as there is another section I failed to notice the first time I went there. I was exploring the Central Mall when I realized that it has a great view of Clarke Quay. The higher elevation is a plus for it. So all the while I was waiting for the sun to go down, I just hung around there and took photos of life along the Singapore River. Of course, this is by no means authentic, but it has already become such an important landmark that droves of people come here any time of the day.
