Interestingly, the centerpiece of the Marina Barrage was not the actual barrage but rather a water themed elevated park. The structure consists of two large flyover-like structures curving like ribbons forming two ramps. Visitors can climb the ramps around the building. The structure is impressively large with the central portion of the building allocated to a nice fountain area and the ramps give you an excellent view of the fountains. To my pleasant surprise, the two ramps lead to an elevated park. I guess this is where the old green area of Marina Bay went to.
