After Bike Dinner at Changi

Roast Chicken

Well, it was a really exhausting day since we spent the better part of the day biking around Pulau Ubin. The bicycles weren’t that comfortable to sit on, so my butt was also aching. We returned the bicycles back to the rental shop and made our way back to the Pulau Ubin jetty to catch our ride home. The jetty wasn’t crowded at that time and we easily got the next ride back to mainland Singapore. It was not a Star Ferry but I guess this will do.

Back at the Changi Ferry Terminal we decided to have some dinner first before heading back home. Although it was a little early in the evening, our tired bodies were clamoring for food. We found a restaurant near the ferry terminal and we quickly got seats. This place serves local Chinese food so I think there won’t be any surprises here. We ordered some familiar food, roast chicken which came with some prawn crackers. Our all time favorite butter squid and some relatively healthy sizzling plate beancurd.

Honestly, The food wasn’t spectacular, the chicken was dry and the squid was tough, but probably because we were hungry we were just gobbling down anything we could. The restaurant was quite full when we left, I suppose it is a nice place to have dinner with the family after a day of exploring Pulau Ubin.
