National Museum of the Philippines

The city of Manila has a good number of colonial era buildings most of which still stand and remain in use today. Right beside the Manila City Hall stands the elegant National Museum of the Philippines. The National Museum of the Philippines building is one of the more significant and impressive buildings in the area. This building reminds me of structures that can be found in the United States and Europe. Indeed, the building was built during the American Occupation and has been used for different purposes until its current use as the site of the National Museum.
