Perhaps not surprisingly, one of the must-do things here in the People’s Park in the Sky is to bring your own food and have a picnic. Tagaytay is surprisingly one of the easiest place to do such an activity with its pleasant climate and stupendous views. The locals in Tagaytay city are more than happy to indulge in a picnic. On weekends, picnic grounds not just in the People’s Park in the Sky but also elsewhere in Tagaytay city are filled with picnic goers.
For a park, the People’s Park in the Sky doesn’t have much greenery it however has small huts that allow visitors to have a picnic in the park grounds. The huts are limited to a small portion of the park to better control waste disposal. It is placed as one edge of the park giving visitors a great view of the surrounding hills. Being a weekend, the huts were quickly filled up with visitors after all it is quite pleasant to just kick back and relax here in the People’s Park in the Sky.
