Something Familiar But Different at Phuket Town Market

I managed to catch what seemed to be the last public bus ride back to the town of Phuket. I wouldn’t want to take a cab all the way from Patong Beach back to town since it was quite some distance away. Walking was definitely out of the question. The bus dropped me at a busy part of Phuket town where all the public transportation was waiting. This was still a good few blocks away from Joe Mansion. Anyway, I short walk around town shouldn’t help.

Satay In Thailand

Satay In Thailand

Finally hunger struck, and I headed straight for the Phuket Town Market for some nice and cheap food. As usual I picked one of the more livelier ones and ordered something a little familiar to me. This time it will be pig organ noodles and some satay. I have pig organ soup in Singapore but I never had noodles with them, it was surprisingly tasty and refreshing. The satay was so-so and not that different from the satay in Singapore. I guess if I wanted cheap, I shouldn’t really be complaining like this. All in all it was a satisfying meal and it didn’t cost me more than 100 Baht. This is really great value here.
