Boat Heading Back to Nyaungshwe

After days of waiting I finally got my wish. Another visitor has finally decided to stay in Bright Hotel and was willing to share the boat for the Inle Lake tour. The boat ride was supposed to cost 15,000 Kyats. At least I do not need to pay as much. The staff at Bright Hotel have always been on the lookout for guests I was lucky another one dropped by just before I leave for Yangon the next day.

I Think There is Still Some More Room

The staff at Bright Hotel handled all the booking of the boat, hopefully they got one who will give us the complete package. According to the one guy, there are really cheaper trips here but you will not get the complete tour. It is probably true so I will have to take his word for it. The docks was along the main river bordering Nyaungshwe. There were only three passengers for a long boat such as this. There were small wooden seats and some umbrellas for the harsh sun later in the day.

As the boat departs for Inle Lake, I finally start to get excited over the prospect of experiencing something new again. I’ve been stuck at Bright Hotel for a few days now, this is as exciting as it can get. I hope I won’t be disappointed.
