Outrigger Canoe by the Sea

As I continued past the small park behind the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Dauis, I realized that the church was actually built beside the sea. In fact, the watchtower just behind me probably served as a lookout tower for any invaders. Jutting out towards that sea is a small jetty made of wood. I wasn’t sure whether the jetty was in acitve commercial use but there were a couple of outrigger canoes parked by the jetty building.
