Blazing Sunset at Alona Beach

Blazing Sunset at Alona Beach

After around 15 minutes of driving through the dusty roads of Panglao, my habal-habal finally brought me to Alona Beach where I was staying. He drove all the way inside until the part where all vehicles are off limits. It has been a very tiring day here in Bohol since I traveled from Panglao Island all the way back to Bohol mainland and hopped from one town to another back to Alona Beach. I was really very hot from the sunburn I got from the church hopping not to mention tired.

I was walking down the beach when I saw one of the massage ladies I met the previous day walking up and down the beach. I promised her that I would go for a massage the next day. I guess, I was fortunate enough to find her, or rather, the other way around. She gave a hour’s worth of Swedish Massage. I don’t really go to massages that often but I didn’t think she used that much pressure. Usually I would end up very tired from any massage but this one didn’t really feel much. Anyway, I would like to think that I help her earn something instead.

By the end of the massage, the sun was quickly setting and I have to take some photos of the sunset here. The sun sets behind the resort so I didn’t get a photo of the sun, however, the setting sun still turn the sky a delicate shade of blue, red and orange. After a few moments that lights of the restaurants along the beach started to open. It was time for another kind of entertainment here.
