D'Coral

After the town of Badoc in the province of Ilocos Norte we got to the town of Currimao still in Ilocos Norte. I really didn’t know why we got off here but since one of my friends has already been here, then we thought it must be a nice place to go.

Beach in Currimao

We went to the resort D’Coral. This is a small beachside resort in the town of Currimao. Currimao has a long stretch of beach which basically follows the coast of Northern Luzon. D’Coral, is just one of the few resorts in this town. After the forlorn looking sign of D’Coral, we walked up a short dirt road into the beach area. What welcomed us was a long stretch of sandy beach. This was certainly no Boracay, the sand was gray, the beach didn’t seem nice, and the water seemed rough.

I was thinking to myself what’s so good about this place? Maybe it is was just bad weather since it was threatening to rain that time. Apparently, my friends we thinking the same thought. Maybe I might check it out again when the weather is much better, my photos probably won’t do it any justice.

We stuck around for a few shots of the place and went back to the highway to catch a bus or a jeepney to our next destination.
