Half an hour after Hai Van Pass, we had another stop over along the highway. It was on a ridge overlooking the verdant paddy fields. The place was high enough that you can see the surrounding countryside. Towards the horizon the South China Sea loomed large. While the brilliant fields of green spread before our feet.
