Raksmie Bopha Angkor

I Think This was the Pork Dish

We headed through the Victory Gate on our way to lunch. Lunch will be at this place the our driver knows and recommends. The name of the place is Raksmie Bopha Angkor. This place is beside the Sra Srang – a huge artificial lake built centuries ago.

The place is a homey kind of place. The furnishings were made of wood and even had photos of their king and queen. Being inside the Archaeological Park, it has an English menu – much to our relief. Knowing next to nothing about Khmer food, we ordered the safe ones, chicken and pork. As mentioned previously, Khmer food is more like non-spicy Thai food.

This one is no different. The food came out quite fast and really looks appetizing. Although just by looking at it, it may look spicy, it really isn’t, to my disappointment. It didn’t taste terrible either. To me it was just an ordinary meal.
